Michael Ciurleo is a master of his craft, a seasoned photographer with over 15 years of experience, shooting projects and subjects across the globe. Early in his career, Ciurleo established himself as a talented visionary, winning the International Open Amateur Photography Competition Award from The International Library of Photography. A member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), Ciurleo continues to push the limits and challenge himself with new assignments, experimenting with numerous mediums from a simple portrait to event photography such as the Masala, Mendi, Masti South Asian Festival and Wizard Comic Cons.
Beginning his career as a youth, he developed his passion for imagery working as an in-house photographer at the Manhattan Modeling Agency. Diversifying his talents he explored the human form, studying Applied Photography at Sheridan College, whilst working at a portrait studio. Exploring the globe remains a passion having shot images throughout the world while working on numerous Cruise lines. Most recently Ciurleo designed and shot a promotional print shoot for a high-end lounge & bar in Spain.
Ciurleo is presently based in Toronto, where he runs Michael Ciurleo Photography (www.michaelciurleo.com). He continues to work as an artistic photographer shooting events to portrait, wedding to travel and corporate/promotional projects.
